Downtown Denver is facing significant challenges with high office vacancy rates, a struggling retail sector, and a general decline in economic and cultural vitality. Meanwhile, working parents are struggling with costly childcare.
Our solution is a model which offers onsite subsidized childcare services. We’ll engage with landlords and building tenants to create Denver-approved childcare centers within office buildings. Funding will be shared by government subsidies, corporate sponsorships, and nonprofit grants to name a few.
The outcome? Employees returning to offices will reduce vacancy rates thereby reinvigorating the office and retail sector. With reduced childcare expenses, working parents will have more disposable income thus driving economic growth.
The ultimate goal is to revitalize downtown Denver, making it a thriving and dynamic urban center once again.
